Aslm,
have a look @ these 2 Hadith.
Majah 520--It was narrated that Jabir bin Abdullah said: "We came to a pond in which there was the carcass of a donkey, so we refrained from using the water until the Messenger of Allah came to us and said: 'Water is not made impure by anything.' Then we drank from it and gave it to our animals to drink, and we carried some with us."
Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: The people asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): Can we perform ablution out of the well of Buda'ah, which is a well into which menstrual clothes, dead dogs and stinking things were thrown? He replied: Water is pure and is not defiled by anything.
Sahih Muslim 1:66
Non-Muslims raised objections with these Ahadeeth... I told them it's true but they keep on disagreeing and say I must go drink water from a polluted river if I believe Prophet Muhammad(SAW)...
so what do I tell them?
