Salaam I reverted to Islam 2 years ago but I haven't prayed I found it hard to do wudu due to arthritis I could not wash my feet ect. I felt bad and so I gave up salat. I have problems trusting anyone even Allaah ( may I be forgiven) you see I have abuse in my background and although I'm having therapy ( with an Islamic sister who is a trained phychologist) I found it hard to trust .. So I left Islam and much to my shame I prayed to Jesus ( I ask Allaahs forgivness) so I've commited shirk. Since a few weeks ago I have felt drawn to come back to Islam. But I've commited too many wrongs. Can I come back to Islam ? How can I rebuild trust? Yet it's like allaah is telling me to return. Would I have to re take shahada? I need advice and guidence. There are no majids no Islamic community so I'm alone. I hope I haven't upset anyone by my story I feel so ashamed and guilty by my wrong doings but I wanted to be honest in telling my story.
