I was speaking to a dietician (non Muslim) about healthy foods and she mentioned milk isn't actually that good for you pointing out that some humans are lactose intolerant and gave an argument that sheep drink sheep's milk, horses drink horse's milk so humans should drink human milk and not cows etc. The verse in the Qur'an came to mind but it was not the time or occasion to quote the Qur'an to her! I found an article above which talks about it further (the author doesn't appear to be Muslim).
Ahadith also talk about the blessings and benefits of milk.
Can you comment please - it's been bothering me!
