According to Islamic belief, how old is mankind? In the family tree of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, there are around 80 people between him and Adam alaihissalam. If we take 30 years gap between two generations, then it would mean that Adam alaihissalam came only 2400 years before Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam!!!
