Assalam alikum wa rahmat Allaho wa barakatu,
the first discussion #1 of Imam RA on anger was posted on feb2. here is the second part alhamdulillah.

A) Inner reasons of anger(Imam RA mentions five reasons as follow)

1. kibr (pride) the one who has pride in his heart will easily get angry due to small action or even a words of another person. he should try to brake his anger with humility and should know he is only one other human out of billions on earth.

2. ojob(self praise) this kind of person has all kinds of defects in his aamal and character yet he thinks that he is a great person which is cause of anger

3. Mazah(excessive fun) such as making fun of things or others, laughing too much also result in anger. mazah in a person is indication that he does not take work of akhirah(deen) and gaining good akhlag seriously.

4. malamat(blaming or finding faults of others, also ends up in anger the person should know there is no person without somekind of defect so he does not have right to blame or waste his time with finding faults of others.

5. hers and aaz(excessive love of wealth, worldly fame and power). this lowly attribute often result in stinginess. the person who is stingy looses his temper with lose of small thing or money. lose of one morsel set him of to anger and being like sheitan

in a very beautiful writing blessed imam complains that in these times(call it our times) some people confuse anger with bravery, and shevirliness. for example they would say that such and such brave person killed another for his wrongdoing, or that he was so ruf and strong that no body could dare to say a word in his presence. Imam continues that anger that is character of dogs and sheitan is being called manliness and praiseworthy. and hilm(soft hartedness) and kindness that is character of prophets considered as weakness. imam RA mentions that being great is to be like( anbiya )prophets and not like animal and shiateen.

remedy for dealing with anger1.
Blessed imam has a long discussion on having consciousness of tawhid in ones heart for dealing with anger. another words since the afair of all makhloog(creation) is in the hand of Allah swt and every action needs will. and the will totally is in the hand of allah SWT and not human, so geting anger is useless. for example when some one is hit by a stone it result in pain but one does not get angry to the stone but to the througher . so a person need to know that anything that come to him comes from Allah swt . tawhid in heart is acceptance of evry situation

2. know that if you get angry Allah swt has more power than you and in the qyamat you will have no protection from his anger
Hadith: once prophet SAS send someone to do something for himSAS. the person was very late. he SAS said if it was not for the (gisas) fear of qyamah I would have beaten you

3.remember how ugly your face looks when you get angry. you look like a wolf and inside you filled with fire like a hugry dog

4.imediatly say audu billahi mina sheitani rajim

5.if you are standing sit down and if you are sitting lie on your side

6. drink cold water or do ghosl (shower) with cold water

7. go in position of sajdah and pray. so you be aware that you are made from clay

8. if some one oppressed you or said a bad word toyou the best is to be quiet, and do not through bad words to him
Hadith, prophet sas said; Allhah swt has created humans in different levels some does not get angry fast and does not become pleased easily. the other gets angry fast also gets pleased easily. He SAS recomanded the best of you is the one that does not gets angry fast and gets pleased easily and the worst of you gets angry fast and does not get pleased easily
9. That love of Allah covers your anfer
rewayah; One person called malik duynar RA as (ryakar) hypocrat. Malik said no one got to know me better than you
Rewayah;one person insulted shaaby RA he RA said if what you say is true may Allah SWT bless me. and if it is not may Allah bless you
