What is muraqabah???

In Naqshbandia Muraqiba means two things only :

1) Niyyat

2) Wait for Faiz ( Intizar)

There is no visualisation involed in Muraqiba at any stage.It is your niyyat which attracts fuoozat from Allah swt.The more intense the desire,the more intense the faiz.

Faiz does come,there is no doubt about it,..."Ana inda dhanne Abdi bi"....is Hadeeth e Qudsi.

Allah swt says "I am close to the dhan of my Abd with me...", So according to our intention we can attract any decisions from Allah swt.If we have husne dhan that faiz is coming,then it IS coming.....but yes faiz has different forms for different people :

*It may be like noor,of whatever colour
*It may be like heaviness on the chest
*It may be like a feeling of cold,even chill
*It may be like 'Sakeena'...peace,sometimes so overwhelming that one goes sleepy.Something similar happened on the day of UHUD to Sahaba karam,they got drowsy while standing,taking support with their swords.
*One may feel 'absolutely nothing'....but their deeds gets better with each passing day
*One may go deep into 'Istighraaq'....his senses becomes suspended.
