As salaamu alaikum wrb everyone, I'm sorry to bother
I am 23 years old and I am from Istanbul, Turkey. I am currently in Turkey. I was a university student at USA that my father had sent me with his financial support. In my university time, I became more religious, started namaz, met tablighi brothers, grew my beard, and went for 3 days and etc...After seeing the physical/internal changes that I had, my father no longer is sending me back to USA because of all the changes I went throught- especially beard, wearing pants above ankles.... If I don't go to university, I will try to immigrate to a different country because in my country every male is OBLIGED to go to the military, 6 months for uni graduates and 15 months high school graduates and I would be forced to shave every day! I feel very stuck. Lastly I am also very interested in becoming a student of the deen, as I have intentions to become a scholar- if that is that I can no longer study university. Therefore, I wanted to go to South AFrica to study at a madrasah and stay overseas forever inshaAllah...I have contacted Darul uloom Newcastle, and I want to try Darul uloom Zakariyya and Innammiyah as well iA. But I'm still not sure if this is the best action to take...
