As-Salamu Alaikum,
I am desperately trying to find a way that I can learn more about the life of the sahaba without really dipping into my wallet because I am a college student and I can't really afford some of the prices for books I see online. Inshallah eventually I will get my hands on them but for now, also since I am time constrained, I am looking for a more well rounded synopsis on the sahaba's characteristics, accomplishments, and iman.
I search on youtube for videos and articles online but I am nervous to really believe what I am watching because these days you don't know if it is a non-muslims in disguise or even a shia lying about some of the sahaba. So if any of you can please give me some links and references it would be much appreciated. I know the basics of the Rashidun Caliphs and Generals I have a basic knowledge of who they are and their characteristics but I need to know more and also the other great sahaba.
